Welcome to Upham Parish Council
The six voluntary councillors who sit on the Parish council work on behalf of the residents and businesses of Upham. The councillors try to ensure that the services others deliver meet the needs of the residents whilst preserving and enhancing village life. Our decisions are taken at monthly public meetings.
The Parish Council is directly responsible for Upham Recreation Ground, bus shelters, play area, street lighting, and village ponds. We work very closely with Winchester City Council, Hampshire County Council and the South Downs National Park Authority to put across residents’ views on planning applications, highways etc. We also liaise with Eastleigh Borough Council, Hampshire Police Authority and many other organisations and community groups.
